The La Plata Summer Concert Series kicks off on the Friday before Memorial Day and continues every Friday night through the end of September. Free concerts are held outdoors on the west lawn of La Plata Town Hall starting at 7PM. Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating. Food is available for sale, and coolers are allowed, but no alcohol. There is also a separate but visible play area for children.
