January 19-22, 2013

Washington, DC

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will take the oath of office on the steps of the United States Capitol at noon on January 21, 2013. The swearing –in is followed by a parade on Pennsylvania Avenue in the afternoon, following a luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Commission on Inaugural Ceremonies.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee will host many official Inaugural Balls. For tickets to any of these balls you must contact your United States Representative or United States Congressman.

You can choose our Full Travel Package or Our Hotel Only Package. Our Full Travel Package includes roundtrip transportation from Atlanta. If you choose our Hotel Only package you should plan to get to our hotel on your own and plan to be at our hotel by January 19 by 4pm for the first scheduled event, which is our Welcome Party. You will be included and have a seat on our motorcoach for the duration of the trip except for the ride back to Altanta on Tuesday morning. Please see below the distance of the hotel from the three major airports in the area.

Friday, January 18

            11pm – Load motorcoach at Decatur Kroger at 2626 Rainbow Drive

            We will stop along the way for stretching and rest stops.

Saturday, January 19

            10am – Estimated arrival at hotel

            We have requested early check-in but not guaranteed.

            4pm – Welcome Party at Houlihan’s

            8pm   - Load motorcoach for Night Tour of Washington, DC

            11pm – Arrival back at hotel

Sunday, January 20

            8am - Breakfast

            9am – Motorcoach Day Tour of Washington, DC

Motorcoach will allow for stops to get off and take pics. Please keep in mind that this is the day before the inauguration and some streets and attractions may be closed but we will go everywhere we can. We will eat lunch along the way while in DC. If times permit, we will head over to GeorgeTown as well.

4pm – Arrive back at hotel. Relax and Unwind. We will meet in the bar for some cocktails around 7pm. Get some good rest this evening as you will have to rise early in the morning to watch HISTORY take place.

Monday, January 21

            5:00am - Breakfast

6:00am – Load motorcoach for drop off at METRO stop which is only a few block away from the hotel. (METRO Card included in your package). We cannot take the motorcoach into Washington, DC on Inauguration Day. The police won’t allow it at all.

ENJOY YOUR FULL DAY IN DC ON INAUGURATION DAY. TAKE A MILLION PICTURES. EDIT THEM LATER!! CATCH THE MOMENT IN PEOPLE FACES. MAKE YOUR OWN MEMORIES!!!

8:00pm- The motorcoach will be at the Springfield METRO to pick everyone up for your return trip to the hotel.

Tuesday, January 22

            6:00am - Breakfast

            7:00am – Load Motorcoach

            7:30pm – On the Road

            Noon – Lunch

            Stretching and rest stops along the way.

            4pm – Dinner

            7pm – Arrive in Atlanta

You MUST follow this payment guideline. Failure to follow this payment schedule will result in forfeiture of your reservation and all previous deposits will be lost. You can start making payments at any time during the sale of this package.

Payments are non-refundable, which are the same policies of the airlines and for prepaid hotel rates.

Payments are non-transferable to another person already taking the trip nor for a different trip.

Name changes are allowed and may require a fee depending on the date the change is requested.

Travel insurance is available for purchase and it is highly recommended to purchase within 14 days of your initial deposit to be eligible for all insurance options such as “cancel for work related” reasons.

Travel insurance is to be purchased directly with Allianz Travel Insurance.

All travel insurance claims are administered by Allianz Travel Insurance and not Neptune Travel Group.

Full deposit of $150 per person is required to lock rate.

Rates are subject to change when payment schedule is not followed, call to confirm rate.

The payment schedule is provided as a convenience, failure to follow the schedule may result in cancellation of your reservation and you will forfeit all payments made. No refunds nor credits will be honored.

Final payment not received by the final payment date will result in a late fee of $50 starting 7 days from the due date.

No travel documents nor information will be released until full payment is completed, including late fees.
